Welcome to my corner of the internet. I call it AnnabelHut not because I have everything figured out, but because I don’t.

Here’s the thing: I’ve never been the kind of person who fits into one box; it’s suffocating to be honest. I’ve spent most of my life feeling like I was supposed to stay still, stay small, and remain silent. People say if you want to be known for something, you have to “niche down, have this one topic you’re good at and can specialize in,” but I don’t want to be known for just one thing. I want to be known for being myself, who I am, and what I aspire to be.

AnnabelHut is my digital hut, a place where I can store all the pieces of me: the stories, the struggles, the printables, the shirts I design, the prayers I whisper, and the little wins that keep me going.

This blog was made out of a long season of being mentally stuck for months to years. I’ve sat on this idea for months, paralyzed by fear, perfectionism, and the panic that maybe no one would care. But the truth is, I’ve cared for too long what others thought, and I’ve stayed hidden for too long. I’m tired of living in survival mode. I am not living my best life because I fear what if this fails, when in reality, I haven’t even tried to put myself out there. I’m tired of waiting for permission to start.

So here I am. Starting from a bunk bed, in a house that doesn’t feel like home, with zero dollars in my pocket with a website I forced my guardian to pay for me because people on Youtube said to promote your business you must have a website, mind you as I continue to learn about web development, I might say this was wrong, I should have learned first then build my website, but with a lot of faith in my heart, I’m still here.

I don’t have a big content strategy. I’m still figuring out where this business is going. I know I want to share my faith-based blog stories, my printables and products, and my honest thoughts. I want to create things that help people, even if it’s just a funny animal pun reminder of a cute baby goat on a mug that says, “You Goat This.”

Honestly, the printables came out of desperation. A vet bill I couldn’t afford. And yet God showed up and paid the bill. That’s how most of my ideas are born: in chaos, in quiet moments, in whispered prayers.

I may not have behind-the-scenes content. I don’t show my face that much. My life isn’t Pinterest-perfect. But this blog isn’t about showing off. It’s about showing up. I’m more of a writer, and with the help of AI, it helps me polish my English and meet certain requirements to fit a good blog post and SEO that I have no clue what that’s about, but I’m learning as I go.

If you’re here and you feel stuck too, whether it’s in your home, your finances, your fear, or your faith, just know that you’re not alone. I’m writing this through anxiety and a racing heart, but I’m writing it anyway. Because maybe someone needs to read this. Maybe someone needs to know they’re not alone in feeling scared about starting small.

This blog is where I keep it raw. Where I talk about how hard it is to build something when you have no money, no connections, no blueprint. Where I share the messy behind-the-scenes of building income streams from thin air, with God as my CEO and anxiety as my co-worker.

Why I Started This Faith-Based Blog Now (Even Though I Wasn’t Ready)

To be honest? I was sick of my own excuses. I was sick of saying, “I’ll start when I have better branding” or “I’ll launch when I’m less anxious.” If I kept waiting, I was never going to start. And I knew deep down I wasn’t the only one feeling stuck.

If I could get just one person to read a post and say, “Wow, same,” then that would be worth it.

Also, I believe we have to start before we’re ready if we want to grow. So this post is my line in the sand. I’m no longer waiting to be more polished, more confident, more “legit.” I’m already enough to begin.
